This app is great, if it could only be faster shall be the best!

A good app

After the last update the app crash when I try to couple two contact from a scan to my contact list

3 seconds.. And all the business card is in the contact list! Amazing

The best Fast and reliable for business user like me. Its the one I prefer out of 6 applications I have on my iPhone.

Works perfectly with non artistic business cards. Needs some minor reviews before saving but much better than typing!

This app isnt bad, but for most people over 40, reading ten-digit phone numbers that are all smashed together with no dashes (or parentheses) is quite a challenge. This app doesnt even allow you to add them in when you edit.

This app does a pretty good job of OCR but good lighting is essential. The annoying pop up windows are infuriating. We get it you want to sell more services. Move on.

I find BCRPro does a poor job in recognizing characters and interpreting the nature of field contents, especially country, company name, and job title. I also make a habit of adding notes when I SBA card, but with this product, I have to add a Notes field to each contact first, then type the actual notes. No way to make it a default part of each new record. These two drawbacks greatly offset benefit of scanning vs just typing contact info directly.

I have tried a few apps like this, but this one is quick, simple and fills in the numbers from most business cards with out the need to retune most of the information.

This app saves an amazing amount of time. Isnt accurate 100% of the time but its pretty close. So so so awesome and worth the price.

I did a fair bit of research before going with BCR. I like it, but cant believe its not better integrated with social media and the cloud. Also the interface and field names, etc. just feel outdated.

Good OCR (for English Latin only) and syncs perfectly with Contacts On iPhone

I have used this app for years. But some cards it has problems with. Specifically the info is not legible. So it has to be entered manually, which defeats the purpose of the app. Understand not all cards, like a low %. I will keep using it, but I see colleagues using cc with no issues.

In July of 2014 I had given this app 5 stars. I have used it often and have recommended many people to use it. Recently there has been an update that makes this app lose significant value. The update caused me to lose all my save business card scans. There is now a cap of only up to 10 card scans saved unless there is a subscription to the BCR cloud service. It is not acceptable that this fee , $16.99 a year, is tacked on when I have purchased a paid app. It is shoddy and greedy that the scanned cards were not preserved and that there is no option to backup to iCloud, DropBox or Google Drive. The scanning has improved although the app no longer gives the user feedback that the card has been scanned. I can no longer recommend this app.

Works only so-so. Although I can take a picture of a business card and it transfers most of the information correctly, this app rarely gets the address correct. I nearly always have to delete the address information and input it manually. It does not matter if the font on the card is crystal clear and easy to read or not. I could understand some of the more difficult fonts out there but this happens no matter what. If they would fix this I would probably give it five stars. The fact that I have to pay for this app and it does not work 100%... Im only rating it three stars.

Another business card / contact app with useless features that doesnt do the basics welll or has the functionality that busy professionals with lots of contacts need. First, Apples contact management system is weak and shouldnt be dependent on by anyone who values their contacts and uses them professionally. A good basic contact management system has a desktop or well-working web services that syncs with the IOS app and from which one can control what goes into Apples contact system via sync or vCard exports that maintains the grouping. Groupings and easy correction of OCR misreads are a must. Its that simple. This program does none of this. Dont bother!

Unfortunately I paid for all the rest before I finally found this one that works. Its accurate and has a nice looking interface. Worth the $

Ive tried so many of these apps and finally settled on BCR Pro as its the easiest to use, the most reliable to properly capture the card details and require the fewest edits. I also like the ability to crater my own card and send it out to clients via QR code, SMS or email with a quick send. If you have a lot of cards to capture this is the app for you, its a huge timesaver. No capture app is perfect but this comes close.
