I was searching for the best app this kind and i just found it. I would never change it, like ever. Every card i have, was inmediately recognized.

I have never rated any app bad ever. But I was experiencing some issues that appear to be fixed now. So changing my review from one star to 4 stars.

Business Card Reader Pro is definitely the best business card scanning app. I’m very happy with the accuracy, even for untypical business cards. I can also recommend to use Cloud + web editing, since these features add additional layers of efficient contact management.

Works only so-so. Although I can take a picture of a business card and it transfers most of the information correctly, this app rarely gets the address correct. I nearly always have to delete the address information and input it manually. It does not matter if the font on the card is crystal clear and easy to read or not. I could understand some of the more difficult fonts out there but this happens no matter what. If they would fix this I would probably give it five stars. The fact that I have to pay for this app and it does not work 100%... Im only rating it three stars.

I bought the app, paying the $6.99, which is more than for most apps. It was ok if the app did the job. What you dont know when you buy the package is that it is pretty much worthless, unless you ante up more. For the purchase price, you get to export 5 cards. After that, the scans just show gibberish. I have a deadline and paid approximately another unplanned $20 for 90 days use of the program. Then it didnt work. I wrote a letter to support for help. They are in Europe. No help till tomorrow at best. I tried to revise the subscription, and suddenly it worked. No instructions when I subscribed. The app now seems to work. It was a very confusing, frustrating startup . It works, but you should be told they will continue to have their hands out for more funds if you want to use the app. Once you buy the app, you are kind of stuck.

When you scan a business card and the app processes the image, it puts the results in a new contact page. When you enter a field that has info, lets say the name field, there is a section of that image below for you to verify the OCR results, it highlights the character it used! Ive not found another app that does this and is a great help. OCR is NEVER perfect. You will always have to double check, this app is the best in making it easy to check.

In spite of previous reviews (which look suspiciously like AstroTurf), this app does NOT work well at all. It 1) does not reliably sort information into the appropriate fields, and 2) does not recognize individual words well -- words wind up shot through with all kinds of symbols and other gobbledygook.

Their excel doesnt allow to filter all the information snapped by the phone and then usually corrected by the user. It doesnt recognize very well and the export excel is horrible. Therefore the app is useless. Weak app and even weaker customer service. Reached out to the developers three times with no response.

Ive been using this app for over a year. Overall it does a solid job of scanning ocr and storing into contacts. Sometimes it messes up especially if you have multiple keyboard languages. You have to remove those in settings. It crashes sometimes or I would rate it higher.

The OCR works only as well as the quality of the card. WAY too many freakin pop up ads for in app purchases. Image files stored in contact info are HUGE!
